Introduction
The "Red Dragon" is a propane fired portable heater designed to preheat aircraft. It consists of a propane tank, 12v blower, 12v automotive battery, and a charger mounted to a dolly. If the heater is started at the beginning of the preflight, the engine should be sufficiently warm by the end of the preflight. More time may be needed for easy starting on very cold/windy days or if you do a lousy/quick preflight.
